In addition to Columbus’ regular festival season lots of other events are including street food vendors this summer.
The Goodale Park Music Series (starts today) and takes place on Sundays noon-2pm and will have 3-4 carts each week including Jeni’s Ice Creams. It’s a relaxed family friendly event perfect for picnicing. Here’s the schedule.
Mad Lab Theatre and Gallery has a fundraiser event called Volatility on July 16th. It’s a mix of local bands on an outside stage and then theatre/comedy on an indoor stage. They will have the Cheesy Truck, Mojo Tago, Earth’s Crust and Leslie’s Creperie serving up delicious street food.
Hills Market has a Foodie Fair on July 30th with 14 mobile food vendors. Hills Foodie Fair and Spelling Bee is a fundraiser for Local Matters, located at The Hills Market on Saturday, July 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults. Kids 10 and under can attend for free. As well as street food and music there will be a hot dog eating competition and a blind wine tasting.
Summer Flea in the Short North is August 7th 12-5 PM, 1024 N. High Street (Fireproof Storage parking lot on the corner of E. 2nd Avenue and High Street in the Short North).
Wonderland will be organizing some more Food Cart Food Courts this summer. We’ll post dates as they are announced.
