Three Babes And A Baker is a dedicated a cupcake truck, that quickly built up a devoted following. They are commonly found downtown at lunchtime displaying their beautiful wares in a shady spot at the NW corner of the High and Gay St Intersection. They also pop up at lots of special events and more often than not seem to be giving away cupcakes rather than selling them. If you visit the truck you are likely to be greeted by babe number one – the ever smiling and tireless Carla Saunders. If she’s not busy baking and selling cupcakes, Carla will be responding to her customers on twitter.
Three babes and a baker bake their cupcakes in the truck early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s cooler, to get ready for their brisk lunchtime trade. Flavors vary on a daily basis and include such delights as red velvet, coconut, strawberry, lemon, Boston cream, carrot cake, german chocolate cake, oreo cookie, snickers and pineapple upside down cake. Three babes and a baker have cute little take out containers if you can resist your cupcake long enough to take it with you. They will also do orders and catering.
